Daniel Zemke, Founder

As a 1991 graduate of the University of San Francisco, Daniel holds a bachelor's degree in American History. In 1997 he earned his Master's in Education from Stanford University. He has taught high school in Osaka, Japan, Santa Clara, California and Kirkwood, Missouri for 9 years. In addition to teaching he coached football, speech, debate, and mock trial teams.

In 2004, Daniel earned his Juris Doctorate from The University of Tulsa College of Law. During this time he was Managing Editor at the Tulsa Journal of Comparative and International Law, and won awards for advocacy competitions on the American Trial Lawyers Association competitive team. 

Daniel has served as Legal Fellow with University of Tulsa College of Law Boesche Legal Clinic, worked in private firms in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Telluride, Colorado. For five years he served as General Counsel with the Telluride Ski Resort managing real estate practice, risk management, contract negotiations and litigation oversight for the resort. In 2012 Daniel started his own practice.

Daniel has provided pro bono legal services and served as a board member to various non-profit entities, including One to One Mentoring, the San Miguel Resource Center, Telluride AIDS Benefit, and Uncomphagre Volunteer Legal Aid. He is an active member of the Colorado bar and the 7th Judicial District Bar Association of Colorado.


Daniel loves living in Telluride, Colorado where he enjoys all forms of outdoor activity including skiing, ice hockey, fly-fishing, mountain biking and spending time with with his wife and two children.
